A quality PV system will last well over 20 years. The PV modules - the actual panels that sit in the sun everyday - can last 30 to 40 years! We use panels that features an industry leading 25 year performance warranty. Inverters may require replacement during the systems life time, and typically have a 5 to 10 year warranty. We now offer Enphase microinverters that are warranted for 15 years with advance replacement and a 100% uptime guarantee. Enphase also tested their inverters to have a mean time before failure (MTBF) of 119 years.
We use all aluminum anodized rack components and stainless steel fasteners.
In other words, a photovoltaic system is a long-term investment that will reliably provide energy savings for many years.
