Many variables attribute to the required number of panels needed to heat your pool. The largest variable is expectation.
Ideally, you would measure the surface square footage of your swimming pool. You would want from 80%‐100% of the pool square footage in solar panels on your roof. The roof space available and what direction the panels must be oriented can also affect the number of panels desired.
