How are the solar collectors attached to the roof?

A system of stainless steel fasteners tie down brackets and Dacron straps are used to attach the collectors to the roof. The method varies with the type of roof.  A special sealant is used to assure no leaks.  This system of attachment exceeds the Miami‐Dade wind load codes.
