Over a quarter of a century ago, FAFCO engineers set about the daunting task of re-defining the design and manufacturing standards of solar pool heating systems. The secret is in the surface. Traditional solar panels channel water into straight, unmixed flow, transferring energy only to the top quarter of the water.

FAFCOS revolutionary technology thoroughly mixes the water through a subtle combination of angle, depth and frequency of "dimples", in a fully wetted surface.

Pool water is directed into a revolving spiral flow, roto-washing the top and bottom surfaces of the panel, with all levels exposed to the suns warmth. Water evenly and efficiently moves through the 2" header and the tubes, which are significantly more in number than competitors panels.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

A typical FAFCO system consists of solar collectors, easily mounted on your roof, and an optional solar sensor and automatic control unit.

Set automatic control unit for desired water temperature.

Sensor detects changes in solar heat and tells the FAFCO automatic control unit when there is energy available to work efficiently.

Your pool pump sends cold water from the pool through the solar collectors.

Revolution" solar panels channel water into spiral flow heated throughout by the suns rays transferred through the panel.

Warm, solar-heated water flows back to the pool, continuously circulating through the collectors until it reaches pre-set temperature levels. In limited sunshine, the sensor triggers the controller to shut system off, draining water from the panels automatically.
